Pakistan won the toss & invited India to bat first. Indian batting was like disaster. I never seen Indian team to struggle like that ever. After 10 overs , India scored 29 runs and they had lost their 5 important wickets included Gambhir, Sehwag, Kohli, Yuvraj and Rohit Sharma. At that point, Dhoni played “Kaptaani Paari” and scored 113 not out in 125 balls included 7 fours and 3 huge sixes. Ashwin and Suresh Raina also scored well(respectively 31 and 43) and helped Indian scored to cross the figure of 225. Final score was 227/6 after 50 overs.
Pakistan lost their 1st wicket on very first ball when Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the wicket of Mohammad Hafeez. It was debut match of Kumar and he took wicket on his first One Day International Match. I’m not sure if someone else also has taken 1st wicket on his first one day international ball. He was the most economical bowler of Indian team. Final figure was 9 overs, 3 maidens, 27 runs and 2 important wickets in a row. Ishant Sharma dn Dinda managed to took 1 wicket each.
