East Africa is one of the most important tourist destinations in Africa. A visit to these places, means to travel to all major destinations in the three East African countries. In Kenya, for example, starting with a visit to the Masai Mara, the most visited park in the county. This park is located in a remote area on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. One can hardly count the millions of wild animals crossing the Mara River to greener pastures of the park. Tourists are assured to see the wild animals like elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard etc. besides other beasts like antelopes, gazelles, zebras cheetahs, hyenas and various species of bird. The highlight of this trip is to see wild animal from a balloon filled with hot air.

Speed boast and Donkey are the only means of transportation in this area. Basically, Lamu residents are Muslim, and Swahili is the common language. During the 15th Century, Lamu was an important port for the export of slaves, wood, ivory and spices.
